How do I configure Red Giant Application Manager around my proxy or firewall?


Red Giant Application Manager's incoming and outgoing connections use the same methods all other web traffic on the system it's installed onto uses (e.g. web browsers), so there are no unique port settings or configurations available through the application.

If you are using it while behind a proxy or firewall and are encountering connectivity issues, it would typically imply it is the firewall/proxy that needs to whitelist/allow the Red Giant Application Manager to communicate with our servers, the steps for which vary per firewall/proxy, and is something you'd need to consult with your firewall/proxy's documentation for assistance with.

If you are certain your proxy/firewall are both allowing RG Application Manager to accept incoming/outgoing connections, and are still having connectivity issues, contact support.
