Radium Glow Ignores 16:1 Quality Setting on Avid

Because of the downsampling rendering of Avid projects, Radium Glow will fail to render a sub-sampled image in the following cases:

  • The Avid project resolution is set to one of the DV, SD or 720p settings.
  • When the Input Quality Setting is set to 16:1.

In this case, the plug-in will simply render at 1:1 quality. This will result in sharper output, but much longer render times. To speed up render times, use the 4:1 or 8:1 modes.
