Are Matrox, Blackmagic or AJA cards supported?

Video Mirroring was the #1 requested feature for Looks and we heard you loud & clear! With Magic Bullet Looks v2 you can do a single frame preview to a Video Out device on an almost-interactive basis. We have added direct hardware support for AJA and Black Magic cards on Mac and Windows, and QuickTime Video Out is also supported on Mac for potentially any card.

Looks will not use AJA or Blackmagic cards for GPU rendering, to take advantage of GPU rendering you will need a compatible ATI or NVIDIA video card. If you run out of video RAM for GPU rendering, or do not have a compatible video card installed, use Looks's CPU switch, this will help handle larger files and improve render speed. Visit the Magic Bullet Looks compatibility page for additional video card information.
